Programming Update


Hey peeps,

Vishnu here from Shared Wireframe. I'm the programming lead on this project and in this post I will be walking all of you through our progress so far. 

8 weeks into production everything is looking clean and fine, but there's always an unpredictable future ahead (UNLESS YOU USE GOAP XD), anyways, jokes aside, we began the project with some basics.

We finished up our camera and movement early on in Week 2, and implemented our shooting system in Week 3.  

The week after, i.e. Week 4, we implemented a Wave system after which we decided to give more customization ability to the system, thus adding a burst wave module to the system. 

Then in Week 5, we carried on with some optimizations, aim-down-sights mechanics, and AI for the game, also finishing our Technical Design Document as well.

We then in Week 6, added some flocking mechanics and some group behaviors for the AI. In Week 7 we focused on bug fixes and fixing anything broken so as to ensure a smooth sail ahead.

This Week we finished up with some snazzy VFX and main menu modifications, and started incorporating animations and audio into the game.

With a few more weeks left in our timeline we hope to bring you a playable and enjoyable experience.
